Aimed directly at the needs and interests of preteens and teens, The One Year Book of Josh McDowell's Youth Devotions is a Right From Wrong devotional that helps young people apply the Scriptures in daily decision making. Covering a host of topics that are relevant to today's teens, this devotional encourages teens to think through difficult choices, enabling them to discover why certain choices are right or wrong.

Customer Rating: Summary: Good, Not great Comment: If you go to public school, or have to deal with a lot of peer pressure, this is great. Most of the topics deal with sex and peer pressure. If you are already committed to purity, and don't deal with peer pressure (i.e. homeschooled), this isn't very good.
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent for 11-year-old boy Comment: This is the first devotional book that my 11-year-old has enjoyed. He actually looks forward to reading it each day. He's a typical spongebob-watching, mp3-listening, psp-playing pre-teen, so a Christian devotional book holding his attention like this is a Godsend. Highly recommended!
Customer Rating: Summary: Great family devotions book! Comment: Josh McDowell has done it again! This is the second devotions book we have done with our kids. They are teens and need to see how God's Word is relevant to them. This book does just that. In about 7 minutes a day, there are Scriptures to read, a story or devotional thought, then thought provoking questions, and even a sample prayer. I recommend this book for any parent to use with his/her teen. It can also be used by a teen to do personal devotions, and to be honest, it has also challenged me as an adult. If you're looking for a book that will challenge you to live more for the Lord Jesus, this book is for you.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great book for teenagers Comment: Bought this a Christmas gift for teenage granddaughter. I feel good about giving a book by this author.
Customer Rating: Summary: Captivating and Biblically sound Comment: Each devotion is packed full of truth. The method in which the truth is presented keeps our sons interested. Also, the truth is shared in such a way that practical application is quite obvious. I highly recommend this devotional to assist your children in growing in their personal relationship with Christ.
